Audnexus

Open Source

Audiobook metadata, unified.

The backend behind the Audnexus Agent. Audnexus aggregates metadata from Audible and other sources into a single, queryable API, with fuzzy author/title matching, cover art, and series ordering.

  • REST + GraphQL endpoints
  • Author, series, and title disambiguation
  • ASIN-to-metadata enrichment
  • Cache-backed, rate-limited, self-hostable

About us

WE ARE LAXAMENTUM

From a single audiobook tool to a metadata practice.

Laxamentum started as a fix for a real problem: audiobook metadata is scattered across Audible, Goodreads, publisher feeds, and local files, and no existing API stitched it together cleanly.

Audnexus solved that. Now we apply the same enrichment, aggregation, and API patterns to broader content libraries, helping teams turn messy source data into structured, queryable metadata.

Our mission

Make content metadata as reliable as the code that serves it.

Libraries should ship with clean data, clear provenance, and APIs that don't break when a source changes. We build the infrastructure that makes that normal.

Engineering first

We write code before we write pitches.

Specific over vague

Real numbers, real products, real APIs.

Open by default

Core tools stay public and auditable.

Built to last

Observability, tests, and docs come standard.
